Kempton Jackson - Rector

Hi, I’m Kempton. I am (mostly) a native New Mexican. I was born on the Navajo Reservation in Arizona but grew up most of my life in Gallup, NM. My wife, a very proud native New Mexican, Carissa, and I have been married nearly seven years and we have four wonderful children, Yiska, Yanabah, Thaddeus and Hezekiah. Carissa and I met in college at Western New Mexico University where we majored in kinesiology. I thought I would one day be a physical therapist, but God had other plans. Carissa became a physical therapist and I have become a pastor. I finished my MDiv at Denver Seminary in 2018. After seven years in Denver and years of discerning both ordination in the Anglican church and church planting, God called us back to the Land of Enchantment to plant Resurrection Anglican. This ministry is a gift, and I am grateful for God’s incredible faithfulness thus far. I am also expectant of what the Holy Spirit will do in lives in coming years because of what has already been done by Jesus! I hope you and I can meet soon!

Feel free to contact me at kempton@rezsantafe.com.

KAYLA PARKER - ADMINISTRATOR

I have the wonderful fortune of serving as Rez’s administrator. My husband Michael and I hail from Chicago, where we fell in love with the Anglican tradition (and each other) while studying at Moody Bible Institute and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. I have encountered the Triune God in a transformative way through the Anglican tradition; I hope you have the same experience at Rez!

These days, I get to take care of our daughter Ramona in addition to working part-time for Rez. You can reach me anytime at kayla@rezsantafe.com.

JESSIE GAC - WORSHIP LEADER

Hello, Jessie here!  I love leading at Rez: helping people recognize, respond to, and rely on God!  I've been doing music, mostly church music, my whole life- in my hometown of Los Alamos, at Wheaton College, and in Nairobi, Kenya.  I've also been a math teacher or school administrator in all those places, and I'm delighted to now call Santa Fe home.

I live on the Southside with my 2 large dogs, and in addition to supporting Rez's music, I work at Mandela International Magnet School.  I'm delighted to be a part of this church plant and am excited about what God will continue to do through Rez!  Hope to see you soon!

OLIVIA GOSCH - CHILDREN’S CHAPEL COORDINATOR

Hi everyone! I have been given the amazing opportunity to run Children’s Chapel at Rez! I have worked with kids for a few years now and I love the joy and fun they bring to everything they do. I grew up in Flagstaff, Arizona and I am currently a student at St. John’s College. Over the past year I have fallen in love with Santa Fe and with Rez! Though I was not raised Anglican, I have really grown my relationship with God over the last year through the Anglican tradition. In my free time I enjoy thrifting, flower arranging, and reading. Feel free to reach out to me at olivia@rezsantafe.com.

MICHAEL PARKER - PASTORAL ASSISTANT

My name is Michael Parker and I serve as a pastoral assistant at Resurrection Anglican Church. Before moving to New Mexico, my wife, Kayla and I lived in Chicago where we attended Moody Bible Institute and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. In Chicago, we fell in love with the Anglican tradition and are honored to be serving at Resurrection Anglican Church here in Santa Fe.

In addition to my work at Rez, I am a campus staff minister with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship in Santa Fe. If you’d like to connect, please reach out to me at michael@rezsantafe.com! I’d love to get coffee or a meal with you.

SETH SKOGERBOE - DISCIPLESHIP COORDINATOR

Hey! I’m Seth Skogerboe, and I am the Discipleship Coordinator at Rez: one part small groups guy, one part worship guy, and two parts administrative go-fer. You can maybe tell from my last name that I come from somewhere cold. I was born, baptized, catechized, polar-plunged, Free Lutheran Bible College-educated and (re: Bible college) met my wife Kirstie in Minnesota. After completing our degrees—English, me; liberal arts, her—and circumnavigating the globe a couple of times with Concordia University Irvine, we thought the desert seemed like the next most reasonable place to be.

I will graduate from St. John’s College’s Master of Arts in Liberal Arts program in December ‘25. We and our baby daughter are discerning a call into church planting ministry in my frozen, chosen homeland, so please pray for us! And email me at seth@rezsantafe.com if you want to give me an excuse to buy you Pivot coffee and help you figure out what God has made you for.

DAN NEWELL - CONGREGATIONAL CARE COORDINATOR

I was born and raised in Indianapolis, graduated from Miami University of Ohio, and had a two decade career in marketing research in Cincinnati.  For a time, I relocated to San Francisco where I helped to manage a social enterprise employing the homeless.  I transplanted to the City Different in 2009 where I became a high school math teacher at the New Mexico School for the Arts. Since leaving teaching, I have volunteered at various Santa Fe non-profits and am currently serving as a volunteer with CASA First advocating for children in the foster care system.

I am grateful to have been introduced to the Anglican tradition through Rez and am excited to be serving in Congregational Care. I enjoy experiencing Santa Fe’s diverse cultures, hiking and biking opportunities, art scene and donut/pastry cafes.
